Whatever comes to mind

Okay so recently I have been having serious trouble finishing dramas. This got me thinking as to why, are they just not good enough anymore or is it just I have outgrown them. Well the answer obviously isn’t the latter, I mean I still LOVE kdramas. So is it the dramas themselves? Due to certain circumstances I am not able (or don’t want to) watch every drama that premieres, so I read recaps instead. That’s supposed to make things easier but yet I still can’t get through the whole drama, I guess that’s commitment issues.

As of late such dramas include: Who are you ,Prosecutor princess, Gu family book (even with my love for Lee Seung gi), monster (which I’ve recently gotten through), Lady Jang ok Jang, I hear your voice, Masters sun, Level seven civil servant, Heirs (I don’t see any hope with this one), Unemployed romance (I just can’t). These are just to name a few.monstar

So I’ll try to break it down as to why I haven’t finished these dramas Continue reading

Okay so I recently read an article on whether the invasion of Kpop will lead to the death of Jpop. Mmmh interesting. Jpop can NEVER die, and I’m not saying this as a Jpop fan (which I’m not) but as an honest to God opinion. Why? Well how can a genre named after a country die if the country still exists? If Japan is still there Jpop will always be there also. This got me thinking and lead me to want to share my story on how I found Kpop, because believe me, it’s a discovery    k

I first discovered Jpop or should I say Jrock before Kpop, and Continue reading

SM has done it again, there gonna be a world autioning fo new talent. This is a chance for all those people out there with dreams and the talent, to show what they got and pray for the best. But unfortunately not everyone will be able to do so. The auditons will be held in Korea, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, USA  and Canada

I find it very depressing that South America and Africa weren’t included in the auditions. There is talent there, and huge fans of KPOP  (i should know). I dont find it too bad for Europe because i feel that North America and Australia pretty much represent the west  kpopulation (that a new terminology)

I know everyone wants the fame plus tonnes of adoring fans. But it so happens we don’t get to decide. One of the pros of being a kpop star is the outfits, who’s with me? Man they dress good. Whoever gets in has hit it big.

For those of us who can’t audition, lets leave it to our imagination. i picture myself chatting with the super junior members like old friends, after an awesome solo performance. I dream wild huh? But not to worry you can too. Please share your wildest fantasies with me, ’cause im sure there others who can relate.

To check out the audition trailer go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLWnKO-2NUM&feature=relmfu

I’d like to say goodluck to everyone auditioning, make us proud FIGHTING!

Queen Seondeok Epi 50 (my thoughts)

Episode 50 took me by surprise, i knew it was going to happen but it was too sudden. Misil’s death. I must say with all her antics and the times I wished her dead, I had great respect for the lady. I thank the director for making her death fitting and perfect for her, i can say she died with grace.

Deokman tried to build an alliance with misil, because no matter what she knows Misil is the best. Misil’s reply really struck me, and made me see her in a whole new light. For her Silla was not just a nation but her life, her lover. She asked Deokman would she ever share her lover? Man that’s deep. You could see the passion and sincerity in her eyes, which were almost filled with tears. (she’s a pretty good actress).

I think the episode tried to do its best, to give us the full down low on Misil. It was for us to get everything about her, it answered our questions and gave us more questions, and truly Misil was a complex character.

I’m still not sure what made her decide to end everything, what made it the end. Was it her love for Silla or was she tired?

Again pain was inflicted on Bidam, he got to witness his mom die right in front of him. Misil oh misil, do you know what Bidam asked her? He asked would she ask him to call her mom, ask for forgiveness or tell him she loved him. I mean after all that he still wants love from her? But misil with the little energy laughed at him, i mean she actually laughed. I kept wondering was she just being herself or didn’t she want to portray her true emotions.

To her love was giving and more giving, something she couldn’t possibly do. to make things worst was that she told Bidam that’s his fate, to keep giving Deokman and get nothing. But my dear Bidam is not stupid, he knows his love may never be reciprocated, but he will always stay by her said because Deokman is just a person but Silla itself. Hah in your face dying Misil.

The great lady Misil died strong as ever, sitting on a royal throne, eyes closed looking deadly beautiful, peaceful and regal. Long live

Deokman’s thoughts when she saw her “I wouldn’t be who I am if it weren’t for you Misil. Goodbye Misil…. Goodbye to your era”

I don’t hate the director but I wonder what will be the story now with Misil gone from the scene?

I hope I can write some more because this drama, is really something, you don’t know what to expect.

Queen Seondeok epi 49 ( my angst)

My heart felt like it was going to burst, watching Bidam torn between his love for Deokman and unfortunately his mom – Misil. I prayed that he dies quickly to less complicate and hurt him. The episode warmed me at first but the director had to go spoil it for me with the whole betrayal thing, curse the director.

How dare the director introduce a character like Bidam to us then make us loose him? If he’s trying to make us choose he’s failing Bidam all the way!!

And how dare Yusin suspect Bidam though he was going to betray them he had no right. Give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s been with them all the way and now doubt him puhlease.

Misil confuses  me, i hate how she keeps torturing our poor Bidam. Can’t she just be plain evil and mean, so he can hate her peacefully. But no shows him love then dumps him just like that. I mean he’s got a troubled childhood , he does not need her to ruin his life more. To have Misil as a mother can ruin anyones life.

Let him be happy in love with Deokman even if the love may not be reciprocated. And again curses to the director and writer. What does deokman feel for Bidam ?I’m confused.

Saeguks can be very annoying. People may hate me for what I’m about to say, but i hope everyday that yusin dies. he’s all boring and stuff, that hairdo seriously who does that? Anyway thats my view.

I can’t believe here i am at night pouring my heart out. I couldnt slep my thought are always on Bidam. What will he do next betray them ? hope not.

So far my experience with saeguks (historical dramas)  have not been great, no they’ve been terrible.

Jumong: it ends with Sosuno leaving with her kids

The land of wind another Song Il Gook drama Yeon the woman he loves, dies.

Emperor of the sea( i admit im obsessed with Song Il Gook): Yum moon Song’s character dies. Where’s the justice in this world?. Can i mention that Jang bogo was has got to be the most boring guy in the history of man ? He and that girl deserved each other. Anyone who has watched Emperor of the sea will understand. Yusin is even better- maybe.

Anyhoo before a launch on, let me continue.

Chuno- Slave hunters: Daegil dies. Boy  i cried,  just thinking makes me wanna cry . im getting a twitch in my eye.

You can’t blame a girl for being negative after such traumatic experiences, (sigh) but i still watch them. WHY !!

If anyone reads this please send a prayer to me , imma need it for the journey ahead. I should sleep now, i need my strength. Stop thinking about Bidam (sorry that was for me). Who am i kidding i just did.

Ps: please leave a comment, words of comfort maybe. Thanks cyber world, thanks for reading.

Boys Over Flowers actress suicide

police have started investigating the authenticity of a note actress Jang Ja-yeon allegedly

left before committing suicide on March 8. The note said she was unable to withstand the pressure of entertaining and having sex with program directors and corporate and media executives.
The former manager of the 30-year-old actress made public her alleged handwritten letters. Jang, who recently starred in the hit drama “Boys Over Flowers,” was found dead in an apparent suicide at her home in Bundang, Gyeonggi Province.
According to the Bundang Police Station, Jang’s letter said she was beaten, forced to serve drinks, act as an escort at golf matches and coerced into sex with several program

directors, CEOs and media executives. Police said they obtained the list of names mentioned in the document but would decide on making them public after confirming whether the document in question is “authentic.”
The police searched nine places including Jang’s former and current agencies and her residence and seized the document from a broadcasting station, Saturday. The document will first go through a graphology test to confirm her handwriting and then police will

investigate the content.

The letter also had some 10 names of program directors and other VIPs, but the police said

they must conduct further investigation to verify the credibility of the document before summoning those mentioned. “The document had thumbprints and a social security number and seems to have been written by Jang,” a police officer said.
Her family members first opposed revealing the document but changed their minds and asked for further investigation since some contents of the letter had already been disclosed.
Yoo Jang-ho, Jang’s former manager and head of management agency Hoyaspotainment, were in possession of the document and first leaked it to the public. He was hospitalized

after a failed suicide attempt, Friday.

However, police said they are not sure whether the document they have found is the one

Yoo disclosed and presumed the possibility of the existence of more than one document. Yoo said he burnt the letter in front of Jang’s family and does not have any copies of the letter.
Kim Sung-hoon, head of Jang’s last agency, was quoted as claiming that the documents are fabricated, adding that Jang’s former manager “fabricated” the letters out of his disgruntlement over four criminal and civil lawsuits filed against him.
Meanwhile, the Fair Trade Commission (FTC) will provide standardized contract forms to entertainment agencies in the first half of the year. “Jang’s letter aroused concern toward

the unfairness of entertainers’ contracts once again,” a FTC official said. “We found several

unfair contracts at big agencies last year, but it’s almost impossible to investigate hundreds of small- and medium-sized companies.”
The FTC will continuously supervise management agencies to rid them of unfair contracts in addition to the enforcement of standard contract terms.

chuno, the slave hunter

I’m going to summaries episodes of Chuno, Slave hunters starring Jang Hyuk (Tazza), Oh Ji Ho (Queen of Housewives), and Lee Da Hae( East of Eden, Miss Ripley). Chuno follows the story of Lee Dae Gil, a man of high birth whose family was ruined when Won Ki Yoon, a slave, burnt down his house and escaped with his sister, Un Nyun, who was in love with Dae Gil. Driven by his desire for revenge, he survived his harsh years on the street and made his name as a slave hunter, dedicated in his pursuit to find Un Nyun, his first and only love. Song Tae Ha is a General of the Army who became a slave after being falsely accused of a crime he did not commit, and finds himself on the run from Dae Gil’s relentless pursuit. Both men become entangled in a love triangle with Un Nyun, who is no longer a runaway slave, but Kim Hye Won, a nobleman’s daughter.

It all sounds great and i really want to see how the story plays along, plus it features to handsome guys, Lee Da Hae is a pretty good actress. im really nervous about this, so please show some support!!
